Position: Part Time Teller – Maternity Cover – 8 Months

Tullow Credit Union is a community based financial services provider, with over 8,000 members. With total assets of €58 million, our core value is to serve our members and the community, whilst maintaining the highest professional standards in our service.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our team.  This is a part time, fixed contract position – approximately 8 Months (20 hours per week).

Principle Responsibilities:

• Provide quality service to the members at the counter, including processing lodgements and withdrawals and enabling loan draw downs and repayments.
• Accurately and diligently handle cash; reconcile balances.
• Deal with members queries
• Promote the products and services of the Credit Union to existing and potential members.
• Ensure member information kept on file is accurate and up to date.
• Complete other duties as required by Management

The ideal candidate should have:

• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent I.T., administration skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in a credit union/retail services environment would be a distinct advantage

The successful candidate should be flexible and available to work extra hours if needed
