Arrangements for Member Services
The Board is finalising contingency arrangements and is making every effort to maintain essential member services, insofar as it is safe, secure and practicable to do so.
It may be necessary for the Credit Union office to remain closed to members until 1.00pm on some or all of the above dates. Services, opening arrangements and alternative means of accessing services may vary according to staffing, operational, security and regulatory requirements.
We will publish confirmed opening arrangements as soon as possible through the Credit Union’s website, Facebook page, email and other appropriate channels. Members are asked to check the latest information before travelling to the Credit Union on a strike date.
Background
The dispute concerns the FSU’s request for recognition and collective bargaining.
Separately, and before receipt of the strike notice, the Board completed its consideration of an independent pay and benefits review commissioned earlier this year. The outcome of that separate process is being addressed directly and confidentially with employees.
Our Commitment to Members
The Board regrets the inconvenience that the proposed industrial action may cause. Our immediate priority is to protect the interests of the Credit Union and its members and to maintain safe and secure member services as far as possible.
We thank members for their patience and understanding and will continue to provide updates as the contingency arrangements are finalised.
